“I’ve been coming to Poison Ivy beauty since they first opened and have been getting my nails done regularly from El for around four years now. In that time there have been a few occasions I’ve had to visit other salons because of my schedule and honestly the difference in service and result is night and day. El focuses so much on the prep of your natural nail - I have very tough and dry skin around my nails and cuticles and every time I get my nails done from El, they look perfect for weeks and my skin looks so clean and smooth. She is an absolute perfectionist and really takes time learning about what you as a client would like to achieve and not only does she care about how your nails look but she cares about the actual health of your natural nail too. She recommended me their signature cuticle oil and the difference it’s made to my nails has been unbelievable. I don’t know how else to say that she is a master of her craft and a true professional and I don’t see myself ever going to a different nail tech as she truly is the best. My nails and hands have never looked so good and it’s truly down to her work. I’ve also had other services by El such as my lip blush tattoo, I’ve had one session four months ago and again El took the time to go through different colours which would compliment my skin tone, she explained the entire process thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’m horrible with needles but somehow I barely felt anything due to her light touch. My lips look great and I’ve received nothing but compliments. She was so patient and kind during my healing process and really made me feel at ease. She’s truly an all round magician & she is the only person I’d ever trust with any service. I know if I go to El, I don’t have to worry, which says a lot!
